The dial is marked "S" to the left of the lever and "N" to the right. I'm wondering what the "S" and "N" stand for.

There is Wm Jourdain London listed in Loomes c. Maybe someone can comment on the case-the bombe base seems unusual. Looks like someone put in a smaller bell. Thank you for the pics.
