Give a man a fish and he has food for a day; teach him how to fish and you can get rid of him for the entire weekend. This is the crystal clear waters of Saddlerock Lake. Located at just above 11, feet and nestled below the Inconsolable Mountain range and is primarily filled by snowmelt.
Notice the kids on the right side of the scene, I sat here watching them fish, one cast after the other yielded a legal size Rainbow Trout, or Golden Trout. I sure hope this wasn't their first time fishing, because if it was they are spoiled for life.

On another note, I thought it interesting that my birth mother's name was Opal And, she named me Katharine, which, when I learned from her its proper pronunciation, rhymes with my birthstone, aquamarine. She was 16 years old, and married to my 24 year old birth father when I was born. After it was learned that he was into child molestation, I was removed from the home, and at the age of 22 months, went to live with the couple who later adopted me. King of a Land!!!
