The British-raised UFC middleweight champion will be looking for revenge when he takes on Dan Henderson in the eagerly awaited rematch. The duo previously met in when Henderson defeated Bisping with a fierce knockout after 3 minutes 20 seconds.
Bisping, 37, was born on a British military base in Nicosia, Cyprus, and was raised in Clitheroe, Lancashire. He began training Jujutsu at the age of 8 and in , at the age of 15, competed as an amateur in Britain's first "no holds barred" competition, a precursor to modern MMA. The 6ft 1ins Bisping enjoyed a successful kickboxing career, winning the North West Area title and later the Pro British light heavyweight kickboxing title. For a short time Bisping abandoned his training for a "real job" and - worked as a slaughterman, upholsterer, builder and laborer - before returning to MMA full-time in His fight against Henderson is his first title defense.
