Our organization proudly provides a unique, personalized approach to care, serving people of all ages through educational, vocational, and therapeutic services. Outpatient Rehabilitation. Our comprehensive outpatient medical rehabilitation program serves children and adults with rehabilitation needs ranging from physical therapy to speech and language services and more.
Day Rehabilitation Program. Our intensive day outpatient rehabilitation program serves children and adults with medical rehabilitation needs through physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language services and through our many specialty services. Ability KC works closely with the Missouri Department of Vocational Rehabilitation to provide resources for individuals with disabilities seeking employment opportunities within their community. Children, adults, and families work with an experienced team to identify, acquire, and learn how to use assistive technology tools for everyday needs in a variety of different environments.
Ability KC offers 4 different programs with unique services designed to help children ages 2 to 18 reach goals throughout the summer and feel confident going back into the school year. Ability KC provides a broad range of services to help individuals and families understand changes in brain function while participating in outpatient medical rehabilitation.
Whether your child is entering kindergarten, or has goals to learn how to drive, our unique seasonal programs are designed to equip your child with the skills and confidence they need to be independent in each season of life. With the outpatient day program at Ability KC, our highly trained staff provides intensive, individualized therapy services that allow individuals to successfully transition from inpatient care to home.
