My best friend in high school was one of those girls everyone wanted to date. So she convinces a guy who I thought was cute but was really hung up on my friend to take me to the Formal.
It was a bad idea. I knew it but did it anyway. The night was a disaster for me but I put on my best face. At dinner the guys said they would pay so my friend and I went outside to the car while they handled the bill. I later found out they were short the cash and just paid what they had. I ended up sending the missing amount and tip to the restaurant with a note of apology.
And for Prom the following year I purposefully took a shift at work so I was unavailable. I am in a course that has a major final project. It involves studying the environment and we have to create something unique that describes the area we studied using all the letters of the alphabet.
The project should also show how every letter is linked together. That sounds so easy! We have to include a write up that not only answers all questions asked BUT explains every single letter. I have to now write paragraphs explaining why I chose the word apple and what I did creatively to show that Apple in my project.
Now imagine doing that for the remaining After weeks of pouring blood, sweat, and tears into this project, they are finally done and submitted. Less than 2 days later we all wake up to an email from our professor. Please note that this email had a bit more fancy wording than what I put down now, but this was the jist of it:.
