More than just a trip, Passages helps you build on your experience and invites you into a community of future leaders. We are excited to launch a new initiative this fall, bringing together Jewish and Christian communities through Shabbat dinners.
Passages students will cohost these special evenings with their Jewish partners, fostering a shared experience of learning and fellowship. Through this collaboration, we aim to strengthen bonds of understanding, friendship, and connection.
These small, intimate dinners will provide a unique opportunity to break bread, engage in meaningful conversations, and deepen the relationship between our communities. Students will step into the powerful stories of five heroes who survived the October 7th massacre, showcasing their resilience and extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable adversity. Through Israel-Is, students will also have the opportunity to meet survivors face-to-face, hearing firsthand accounts of hardship and resilience.
These encounters foster empathy, dialogue, and lasting connections, inspiring students to carry these powerful stories forward. While there, a survivor shared a poignant insight: each prayer, good deed, and act of solidarity is like a drop of water.
