A Warren man will have to register as a sexual offender for 15 years for attempting to pay a minor for sexual contact. Scott J. Cressley, 46, pleaded no contest to a count of corruption of minors before Judge Gregory Hammond. Police received the initial report on March 24, , when the mother of a year-old female reported that she and her daughter spent the night with Cressley at his residence.
She still refused. He said his client had 12 drinks that day. He said Cressley would have to register as a sexual offender for 15 years as a result of the plea. Several charges were not prosecuted in exchange for the plea including two counts of promoting prostitution of a minor, criminal attempt β aggravated indecent assault, criminal solicitation β statutory sexual assault and criminal attempt β statutory sexual assault.
