A Minnesota mom has avoided a prison sentence after being convicted of sexually abusing two year-old boys at a hotel last year. The Minnesota Star Tribune reported Monday that Allison Schardin, 39, was sentenced to two weekends in jail and hours of community service for the crimes, which took place last January at a hotel in Roseville, Minn.
The Star Tribune reports that the mother of two met a group of year-old hockey players from Colorado in a hotel hot tub and later abused two of them in their room. The Star Tribune , CBS News and the Pioneer Press previously reported that, while in the hot tub, Schardin had confided with the boys that she was having marital problems.
She later sent a Snapchat message to one of the boys, who were in town for a hockey tournament, saying she got into a fight with her husband and wanted to stay in their room, where she later arrived and began discussing sex.
