He has been at CBS since His research relates to developments in economic sociology and anthropology, organization and science and technology studies, and social theory. His current research focuses on two main areas. The first area is the organization of markets. In particular, he studies experts that claim to be able to make markets to solve matters of collective concerns.
Here, he expects to help bridging between studies of mundane economic practices and analyses of the calculative devices produced by financial firms. He initiated the collective blog Estudios de la Economia and is an associate editor at the Journal of Cultural Economy and member of the editorial board of Valuation Studies and Sociologica.
