Campaigners are calling for a website which allows punters to rate and review sex workers to be closed down. One high profile politician has previously called for the closure of Punternet - arguing it fuels demand for prostitution.
And campaigner Trishna Datta has launched an online petition calling for the website - which is based in California - to be closed down. She says she respects the right of women to work in the sex industry but says they should be able to make a platform for themselves.
Trishna says that instead punters expose the women they are rating and reviewing to danger by advertising their locations and contact numbers - even though punters can post anonymously. Punternet allows men to look up sex workers in its UK-wide directory then rate them after the encounter. Some of the reviews posted from Manchester shed a harsh light on the treatment of sex workers in the city - from those who work in brothels to those who meet up with men in potential dangerous scenarios on the streets.
Encounters are described in graphic detail with, listing the duration of their visit, the amount they paid and whether they would recommend the woman they met to others.
