For our core aeration service, we offer both single-pass aeration and double-pass aeration. At Turf Kings, we offer aeration services in both the spring and fall seasons. In the spring, we offer liquid aeration which involves spraying a liquid solution on your lawn to reduce soil compaction. We offer liquid aeration in the spring because it is not as invasive as core aeration and won't cause stress to your grass at a time when your lawn will be focusing on growing as it comes out of winter dormancy.
Additionally, we prefer liquid aeration at this time of the year because core aeration can risk breaking through the pre-emergent weed control barrier. In the fall, we offer core aeration. This service involves removing small plugs of soil from your lawn to reduce soil compaction. We use core aeration in the fall because this is the time of year that cool-season grass will be at its strongest and will be able to handle the core aeration process.
