This program is available to Saudi physicians who are completing medical school and have internship requirements as determined by the SCFHS. The guiding principle for this program is to graduate competent clinicians who are able to practice independently upon graduation.
A number of national and internationally adopted frameworks for postgraduate medical education were used to develop this course. Specialist areas include anesthesiology, clinical pharmacy, emergency medicine, ear nose and throat ENT , family medicine, pathology, pediatrics, critical care medicine, and internal medicine.
