Over the years, I've provided direct service to hundreds of relationships and thousands of individuals, in various settings, from all walks of life. Since the pandemic, I have treated hundreds of people via telehealth and am currently practicing solely via telehealth. My work in Relationship Therapy is based on nearly five decades of research conducted by The Gottman Institute. In their work with thousands of couples, Drs John and Julie Gottman have developed methods shown to help couples enrich their friendship and improve how they manage conflict to gain a closer, kinder, and more intimate connection.

Since obtaining my Master's Degree in Social Work, I've worked in substance abuse, disability, oncology, relationship therapy, and general practice. Over the years, I've provided direct service to hundreds of couples, in various settings, from all walks of life. My style is warm, open, unconditionally accepting, and occasionally humorous. A little more about me: I was raised mostly in Ogden, Utah but graduated high school in Durango, Colorado.
During and after graduate school, I worked for the University of Utah in the substance abuse field with adolescents and adults. I went on to enjoy the privilege of working with the Institute on Aging in San Francisco, assisting elderly and disabled individuals to live independently in their community. I returned to Salt Lake City to work for several years at Huntsman Cancer Institute and helped countless patients and their family members cope with their cancer experience.
