This is a full body service complete with back, legs, arms, hands, feet, and scalp massage. You may choose a specific area to focus on, but it will take time away from other areas. Firm pressure is applied to a specific area of concern to encourage the breakdown of adhesions and the area is stretched. Therapists may use trigger point therapy, or other advanced techniques to alleviate pain and improve range of motion.
The goal of a deep tissue massage is not to complete a full body massage, if done it will take time away from problem area. Heat is used to relax the muscles and disrupt the sensation of pain.
