Robinson, 35, is the primary and sole suspect in at least five murders.
The women's bodies were found near each other but their deaths occurred at different times. Harrisonburg Police Chief Kelley Warner said cell phone records and video surveillance linked Robinson to the women's murders. And in June, the Metropolitan Police Department issued a release confirming that Robinson is the sole person of interest in Sonya Champ's death.
Authorities said Robinson found his victims on dating sites -- like Plenty of Fish and Tagged -- and then met them at area motels. Davis said that Robinson inflicted trauma on his victims, then killed them.
