There are various ways you can apply for admission as a first-year or transfer applicant. Review your options and decide which one works best for you! Admission and financial aid applications, for both first-year and transfer applicants, that remain incomplete by the stated deadlines will be at a distinct disadvantage and likely will not be admitted.
Deadline to apply is November 1. Early Action EA is our early, non-binding application option. Students who apply EA are considered for our Premier Scholarships in addition to merit scholarships. Deadline to apply is January 6. Students applying EDII are considered for merit scholarships. Regular Decision RD is our final, non-binding application option. The deadline to apply for Regular Decision is January 6. If you are applying to the Frost School of Music, the deadline to apply for this admission plan is December 1.
Students applying RD are considered for merit scholarships. Final Credentials Deadline is the date that all supporting documents listed on the Application Checklist in your Applicant Portal must be on file for consideration. This is also the deadline to change your major for a major in another school or college.
Financial Aid Deadline is for any applicant interested in applying for Financial Aid. All applicants must complete the CSS Profile. Applicants will receive an estimated financial aid offer with the admission decision. Please follow the instructions for applying to the Frost School of Music. Transfer applicants have two entry term options.
Interested in one of our performance based majors or architecture? If applying to the School of Architecture, the Frost School of Music, or the Theatre Arts BFA program in the College of Arts and Sciences, review the requirements for your chosen school and the corresponding deadlines for those materials. First-Year Applicants who do not submit test scores are required to submit a portfolio.
