Click here for the full operating schedule. Fish Creek Road is a State Highway. Alaska DOT plows the road each morning prior to opening and will return as needed throughout the day. Eaglecrest is the highest road accessible point in Juneau.
Skiing surfaces that are power-tilled today and will be smooth, fast, and soft. If you have the skills, the skiing is still easily edgeable and soft stashes do exist. East Side is open for all ability skiers and riders. The west side is still expert skier and rider conditions.
This just in! There are a few thin snow cover hazards, but other than that, wonderful skiing. Blue skies with minimal winds and around degrees today. Wear a cap and buff and have fun out there!
Be sure to have your nordic pass on you as folks will be checking for them. No dogs are allowed on the Nordic trails with the exception of the dog loop. On operating days, uphill access is not permitted within the ski area boundary. There are three designated routes along the ski area boundary to access backcountry terrain, not Eaglecrest terrain. Please refer to the uphill route map and read the uphill policy.
Eaglecrest reserves the right to suspend uphill access at any time for ski patrol and mountain operations. This includes operating and non-operating days and hours. Uphill skiers, snowboarders, and hikers are using the area at their own risk and assume all responsibility.
