Zahriya Moreno, 22, had her organs donated Wednesday, just two days after she was severely injured in an alleged domestic violence incident involving her boyfriend, KOLD reports. Her father, Robert Moreno, says he woke up scared Wednesday, knowing his daughter was going to be taken off life support.
Her boyfriend, year-old Angelito Adrian Olivas, was arrested on charges of felony domestic violence, aggravated assault and felony endangerment. The interim complaint shows the couple had an argument early Monday morning. The document shows Olivas knew his girlfriend was on the trunk and kept driving anyway. At some point, she fell off and was unresponsive. She was later taken to the hospital.
