Fantasia Malware Presents After the performances, Adrienne Kammerer will do a laptop DJ set. The festival will explore how technological scale creates relations and fractures in the world by transferring images through history and across socio-political contexts.
In addition, an expanded programme will take place throughout the city: Out of Scale is a free citywide exhibition within Berlin's networks and infrastructures that generates critical conversations around how technology and its precise measurement systems can be reassembled. Installations, performances, presentations, concerts, and other formats dedicated to digital art and culture as well as experimental music and sound are centric to the programme.
The two-week event series builds the kick-off for transmediale and CTM festivals. The residency calls for transdisciplinary artistic research projects that explore emerging social concerns in culture. The two-month residency programme supports proposals for projects and works at different stages of development. The project period is around 3 months.
