Authorities began investigating Justin Landry, 34, after he shared files containing explicit images of children Oct. The detective, Sgt. Landry sent images of nude prepubescent girls ages 2 to 6, according to the statement. A video Landry shared shows a boy, approximately 7, having sex with another male. On Friday, ICAC agents carried out a search warrant at the home where Landry confessed to searching and downloading from the Internet child pornography over the past two years, the release says.
Landry was booked into the Ascension Parish jail on 15 counts of distribution of child pornography and a count of being a fugitive from Plaquemines Parish on a child porn count. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison for each count, according to the release.
