These dogs are available for adoption and listed as VIP for reasons that include their time spent in the shelter, available space in the shelter, a senior pet over eight years old, heartworm positive dogs, special needs, or at the discretion of the Animal Care Supervisor or Shelter Manager. While most of the dogs at Arlington Animal Services are VIP due to their time spent in the shelter, we encourage anyone searching for a new best friend online or when visiting the shelter to ask a shelter team member for more information about any pet they are interested in meeting or adopting.
We love sharing stories or information about our shelter pets! At Arlington Animal Services, all our dogs, VIP included, have had only positive interactions with people and other dogs in the shelter.
