The session begins with a conversation about what is bothering you, what you have found that seems to help, and what activities increase or decrease your symptoms.
Next we test some movements to see if we can reproduce them. Finally we will decide on a specific plan for your session. At this point I will leave the room and let you will hop on the table. While this type of session can be relaxing it is not the primary goal. Instead we will focus on resolving your issues. The last thing worth mentioning about this service is that it does not need to be a full body session. If you are only having problems in one arm and neck, then we can work on those areas alone.
This session is the marriage of a general deep tissue massage with all the bells and whistles of a relaxation massage. Aromatherapy, wireless headphones, and no chit chat.
Typically people want the session focused on their shoulders and low back, but it could just as easily be focused on your scalp and feet.
Invariably people find me when they need a regular deep tissue session, and once we address their problems they use this type of session for maintenance moving forward. While I do offer this type of session in an hour session, the 90 minute version is the most popular service I offer.
