Our weekly classes offer children quality lessons that focus on improving self-discipline, while also allowing the creative mind to grow in a supportive setting. Led by the Juilliard School graduate and Ballet Basel soloist Armando Braswell and his team of high-quality artists, the children are exposed to a unique artistic mentor experience that motivates them to focus on their commitment and personal performance through quality training.
We are proud to support underprivileged children by offering financial aid to our BAC Kids program. See below for more information. With our unique membership system, children have a weekly reserved place in one "main" class of their choice, but are also welcome to join any additional classes on our schedule - either as make-up lessons due to missed classes or in addition to their main class if they wish to simply try something new!
By doing this, we can better accommodate changing schedules, travel plans, illness, etc. As part of our ongoing commitment to fostering unity and professionalism at Braswell Arts Center, we have a uniform policy for all ballet dance students. Each class has a designated color uniform and the children are required to wear the uniform to class each week. For more information and to order a uniform, please visit the BAC Shop. Offering full or half-day camp options for children ages 5 and up during every Basel-Stadt school holiday. Artistic mentoring with high-quality artists and teachers to inspire the next generation of young artists. Discount applies to memberships only. Due to our membership with the Tanzvereinigung Schweiz , some health insurance companies SWICA and Sympany, for example offer to reimburse some of the cost of our membership fees for both children and adults--up to CHF per year!
