We take pride in not only finding academically and technically talented individuals, but in finding those with qualities to become gifted surgical leaders. Our residents embrace a team atmosphere and togetherness both in and outside the hospital. The general surgery residency program is composed of a diverse group of students hailing from all around the world.
With trainees from places such as Greece, Russia, Egypt, the Philipines and more, the Department of Surgery embraces surgical leaders from any and all backgrounds. Other Interests: I enjoy hiking with my wife, Kayla, at state and national parks, spending time outdoors with our dogs, Bella and Rosa, cooking and grilling whole food meals, spending time around a fire pit, and visiting local wineries and breweries.
Other Interests: I grew up dancing and enjoy taking dance classes when I can. I also enjoy trying out new restaurants, cooking, spending time with friends, and traveling. Other Interests: In my downtime, I'm all about mixing things up with a bunch of different hobbies. You'll catch me binge-watching Netflix shows, diving into manga worlds, pumping iron at the gym, hiking through nature trails, or just strolling along the beach.
I love kicking back or getting active because it's all about finding the perfect balance! Other Interests: Photography, drawing, horseback riding, and spending time with my dogs Cheers and Ruby , horse Rex and family!
Other Interests: On my days off I like to go on nice walks around Delaware Park in Buffalo or go out for some ice cream with friends and family. Other Interests: Music has always been a big part of my life, so I enjoy playing my instruments or having a good jam session on a day off. I also enjoy traveling with my wife across the country and exploring the outdoors. Growing up, I spent my summers in a sailing camp.
