Investigators shut down a north Jackson prostitution ring masquerading as a massage parlor Friday afternoon. Beyond the doors of the building off Lakeland Drive, law enforcement found bags of condoms, tissues, massage tables and three women ranging from 20 to 40 years old. Scott calls Friday afternoon's raid a success, with deputies arresting and charging those three women with prostitution.
And in a small way, this is how you get it started. Scott said they have at least one more arrest to make in this case; the man deputies say is responsible for leasing the building and providing the stage for those women to make their money. Crump, same business.
There will be warrants issued for Mr. Crump for promoting prostitution. He can call us and come talk to us or we'll be looking for him. Until that happens, Scott said they expect Crump may try to set up shop again.
