Please see Mobility Map for better navigation. Service Animals Service animals are welcome at the Zoo. Emotional support animals, therapy animals, and pets are not permitted.
Under the Americans with Disabilities Act, a service animal is defined as a dog or miniature pony that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability.
All service animals must remain on a standard leash at all times for the duration of your visit. Retractable leashes are prohibited and a standard leash will be provided by the Zoo if needed. Service animals must remain on the ground at all times; holding service animals in-hand or in strollers, wagons, backpacks, bags, etc. Guidelines and guest responsibility: Be aware that geese, squirrels, and other local wildlife roam freely throughout the Zoo. Clean up and dispose of any waste your service animal may leave.
Look for any indications that a Zoo animal may be upset, exhibiting behaviors like excessive flying, running or vocalizing. If you notice any of these behaviors, please step away from the distressed animal.
