The chapel of rest is a space that can be used by all faiths to visit their loved one in the time between when that person comes into our care, and the funeral.
You can also use the chapel of rest for funeral and memorial services. If you would like to visit our chapel to spend time with a loved one, please make arrangements with one of the team at Harold White. If you are a friend of the deceased, you will need to check with the immediate family before coming to the chapel. Our chapel is open between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Unless the family has requested, there is no dress code so you can come straight from work, or in your normal clothes.
Families sometimes choose to hold small funeral or memorial services in the chapel of rest. Small intimate services are often held here ahead of larger funerals, or when families have chosen a direct cremation.
