At Fortitude Counseling, we primarily serve children and adolescents ages 3 to 18, and their families. We specialize in Trauma Focus Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other modalities which focus on the treatment of traumatized youth and other social-emotional challenges they face.
Depending on the specific treatment needs, we also serve adults. However, we do not provide services for adults with treatment needs that may pose a threat to the vulnerable populations we serve. We are a small group of licensed behavioral health professionals who do our best to help people get through some of the most difficult times in their lives. Our practice is not about money, it's about mission. Our mission is to help clients identify, use and hone the skills they already have and hopefully, learn some new ones.
We use the most up-to-date evidence based approaches, along with some of the most time tested and proven Christian principles. We have a sliding scale and in some cases offer pro-bono services.
