Athletes in fascial stretch programs have been found to recover more quickly between training sessions and improve active range of motion from 36 percent to 52 percent greater in athletes than other stretching methods. Slower waves unwind the fascia to restore tissues to more efficient resting lengths by stretching tighter myofascial directions.
